This is a unique and stunning wood burning art piece of a tiger’s head on a square wood canvas that was created by LRC using pyrography. Pyrography is the art of decorating wood with burn marks using a heated metal point or a hot wire.
The tiger’s head is facing forward and is in the center of the image, detailed with stripes and fur. The background is a light wood color with a darker wood color for the tiger’s head.
The image is signed “LRC ’23” in the bottom left corner and has the number 53 burned on the back for authenticity.
The wood is a 5.75 x 5.75 x 0.03125-inch square wood canvas that has been sanded, treated with a wood conditioner, and protected with a water-based crystal-clear gloss polyurethane. All measurements are approximate.
