Add some nature-inspired charm to your home with this stunning pyrography butterfly and insects plaque.
This handcrafted wood art features a butterfly and three smaller insects burned into the wood using pyrography, a technique of decorating wood with fire.
The plaque is in the shape of a shield with a curved top and bottom, and measures 12x12x0.75 inches (all measurements are approximate).
The butterfly is in the center of the plaque and is intricately detailed with paisley and floral patterns.
The three smaller insects are below the butterfly and are also detailed with patterns.
The plaque is signed “LRC ’23” in the bottom right corner and has the number 38 burned on the back for authenticity.
The wood was sanded, conditioned with a water-based wood conditioner, stained with Golden Oak stain on the back and edges, and coated with a crystal-clear gloss polyurethane for protection and shine.
This plaque is a perfect addition to any bug lover’s collection or a great gift for someone who appreciates nature and art.
