This is a woodcut print of a rooster that was created using pyrography, the art of decorating wood with burn marks from a heated metal tool. The rooster is intricately detailed with patterns and designs on its body and tail feathers.

The wood is a 11.8 x 7.9 x 0.125 inch rectangle blank that was sanded before the artwork was burned into it.

The image is signed “LRC ’23” and has the number 70 burned on the back for authenticity. This is a one-off piece that we are still working on finishing.
